Game Wyrd - Concerning Silven's 1st issue (and my first article with the company). "The Silven Trumpeter isn't exclusively d20 though. I think. The regular look at Computer Roleplaying Games (CRPGS) just happens to dwell on the Temple of Elemental Evil and that just happens to be d20. Electronic, intangible and seeded by the microtime on your computer d20s but d20 rolls nonetheless. What's certain is that the article by Eytan Bernstein as a Gamer's Guide to Religion could certainly be applied to any RPG and it's well worth the read." Read the whole thing.
Ladygamers.com said: "Silven Crossroads's Eytan Bernstein has written an interesting article entitled, "The Many Faces of Gaming: Female Gamers." The article provides an in depth, almost scientific analysis of the challenges, issues, and problems of female gamers."
Joy Pixley on RPGnow said the following about Curses! (giving it 5 stars), "The spells and feats are especially good, and I'm a tough sell. I've been able to use a lot of this in my homebrew, both for my not-so-evil witches down the lane, and to help flesh out an evil god of pain, who now specializes in curses too. Between the new spells and the ideas for how to use existing spells as curses, you can create your own Curse domain, beef it up by giving the clerics the special nasty curse feats, and still have plenty of crunch left over." Read the whole thing.
The staff at RPGnow.com gave me a mostly positive review for 17 Magic Hats & Helmets . It was the first in the series I am working on, so I was really feeling my way through it. The positive comments they gave seemed to mostly focus on the thoroughness and variety. Read the whole thing.
Henrietta Miller gave 17 Magic Hats & Helmets 5 stars over at RPGnow.com. She liked the easy to use and clear nature of the book. Read the whole thing.
There is a very solid review by staff reviewer Duane Nutley of 17 Magic Rings at the D20 Magazines Rack. He thought the items would be useful in most people's games. Read the whole thing.

A new 4 star review of Curses! is up at the ENgamestore. Reviewer Pinotage (through Crothian's Review Project) gives a very in depth review of the book. Read the whole thing.
Another 4 star review of Curses! at ENworld. The user Ace was pleased with the quality and general usefulness of the book and provided some interesting possible uses. Read the whole thing.
The D20 Magazine rack had positive things to say about Curses!, mentioning that it was definitely useful as a reference for expanding curse material, and leaves you wanting more :). Read the whole thing.
There is a nice review over on the D20 Magazine rack for The Pun is Mightier than the Sword. I felt the reviewer (staffer Casey Smith) appreciated the effort of the book, and while humor is obviously unique to the individual, it went over quite well overall (and yay for my PrC mentions). Red the whole thing.
3 solid 3 star reviews appear at the ENgamestore for the three Le' Games books I published. It seems that beauty is in the eye of the beholder like in all things, but the common thread is that there are enough interesting items to make the books worth their price. These include short reviews for (just click on the title of each book to see the review) 17 Magic Hats and Helmets, a second for 17 Magic Hats and Helmets, and one for 17 Magic Rings.
The first review of NPCyclopedia: Psionics is out on RPGnow edge, and it's real good! It's a 4 star review from staff reviewer Peter Ingham. He appreciated the massive effort of the book. Read it!
There is a decent review of 17 Magic Rings on RPGnow by the staff. Read it.
There is an awesome new 5 star review of NPCyclopedia: Psionics by staff member Shane O'Connor on RPGnow edge. Can't really get any better than this one. Read it, NOW!!
There is a (in Dutch - anyone fluent in this, please help!) review of The Pun is Mightier than the Sword in the online magazine Cerberus 2 (January 2006 issue). (Don't ask me how I found it). I haven't been able to entirely piece together what it all says, but the numerical scores are solid (all 6s & 7s) and they seemed to like the prestige classes (which has always been my biggest D20 design strength). Read it on page 49 of this link to their magazine PDF.
There's a solid review of NPCyclopedia: Psionics by Patrick Seymour at the D20 Magazine rack. While it's not as glowing as the ones at RPGnow edge, not every review can be. It's still pretty good. I was actually surprised at the score given the positive nature of the review. I think the problems mentioned will be cleaned up in the mongoose print version. Read it here.
There is a solid review by staffer Peter Ingham of Races of Twilight: The Sarkuvans (a product I edited). He seems to think that it's well edited in terms of mechanics, so I did my job :) Read it here.
A decent 3 star review of 17 Magic Rings by staff reviewer Rob Muadib appears on RPGnow. It seems to me that most of the products in this series receive 3 stars from the staff simply because no one likes all the same things. The same thing one reviewer loves, another hates. I'm not sure I agree with the grammar comments - no one else mentioned them - but then again, I don't do the editing. I'm satisfied at 3 stars or higher for this line. Read it here.
Megan Robertson has uploaded a nnumber of 3 or 4 star reviews for NPCyclopedia: Psionics, The Pun is Mightier than the Sword, Curses!, Races of Twilight: The Lutrins, and Mitarra - The Agenda of Itherelle: Caves of Crystal. The reviews are generally nice, though they are extremely vague about why the ratings were given (not to mention the fact that they are reprints of reviews from RPGresource that did not contain ratings - with the exception of Mitarra).
There is a 3 star review of 50 New Ways to Turn Things into Other Things at RPGnow. While staff reviewer Derek Koch did have some issues with the more literary aspects of the book (which I had no influence over), he did compliment it for its technical side, so I think I came through here quite well. Read it.
There is an excellent review of Fantasy Music Set 1 on RPGnow. It's a staff review by Rob Muadib and it's 4 stars. Read it.
There is an excellent review of Mitarra - The Agenda of Itherelle: Caves of Crystal at the D20 Magazine rack. Read it.
Staff reviewer Chris Gath has written a solid review of Fantasy Music Set 1. He said he was mildly surprised and pleased with the music, though he would like longer pieces (which is unfortunately beyond my processing capbalities, but I do agree). Read it here.
Staff reviewer Peter Ingham has written a solid review of 50 New Ways to Turn Things into Other Things at RPGnow. While the review did have some issues with style, it said that the mechanics were quite solid and well executed, so I did my job. Read it here.
There is a very nice review of NPCyclopedia: Psionics by Charlie Dunwoody on RPG.net. He gave the book a style and substance of 4/5, feeling that it was a fantastic resource for NPCs. Read it.
There is a solid review of 50 New Ways to Turn Things into Other Things at RPGnow. Again, the book was lauded for its accurate and balanced spells, but not for it style. As the mechanics editor, that means I did my job. Read it here.
There is an excellent review of Mitarra - The Agenda of Itherelle: Caves of Crystal at the D20 Magazine rack. Read it.
